The Optica Q is a compact optical quality sorter. It reads fifteen to eighteen tons of seed potatoes per hour based on their quality. In equivalent terms, the Optica Q reads as fast as three people in the reading room. This results in significant cost savings and more importantly opportunities for further professionalization. With the Optica Q every see potato is measured for its true value allowing you to maximize your harvest. This flexibility offers solutions for various scenarios. You can process seed potatoes immediately after size sorting with the Optica Q or even after a storage period. With the Optica Q you can sort clods foreign material and quality all in one pass. The sorting results are collected in three separate outputs. Potatoes with issues like scab, rhizoctonia, wireworms, shape abnormalities or damage are easily separated out.
